I'm pleased with how they look, except they don't seem to fold nicely. The bottom few folds work ok, but then they go crazy. I did make sure that the rings are lined up perfectly. I'm pretty sure this problem is caused by the blackout lining I used to back the shade. I think its just too heavy to allow the shade to fold nicely. Below are some pictures. I have found that the shade is gradually getting "trained" to form folds. When we raise it during the day we make sure the folds are neat and even. I might try pressing them in with an iron. Any other ideas? Update I made another shade and pre-washed the fabric and lining twice. This helped slightly and the newest shade "trained" more quickly than the others.
