I use the paints intended for screen printing as you get a lot more paint for your dollar. I sketched out a design for the, whatever it is, that got ran over then proceeded to paint. Then I carefully painted the tire treads ... yeah right. I got the spare tire out of my trunk, cleaned it up, painted black paint on the treads, then rolled the tire across the t-shirt. Certainly saved a lot of time.
