Don't trash those ugly mouse pads! Recover them
with your favorite fabric using Wonderunder or Heat &
Bond. These also make a great gift if you use interesting,
novelty cotton prints. For example, a fish-themed
quilting cotton for that fisherman in your life.
- Trace around the mouse pad onto the paper side of the paper backed fusible webbing.
- Cut it out slightly larger than the drawing.
- Iron the rough side to the wrong side of our fabric.
- Cut out on the traced line.
- Peel off the paper and iron it to the top of the pad.
It will probably stink when you iron it because of the rubber
or plastic that is in the pad, but it does revitalize
it!
